So proud of Zack

Both boys have had just a phenomenal week. Zack had stepped away from soccer for a few years and stepped back into those shoes this past fall. I am so thrilled he did. It was always something he enjoyed and seemed to thrive in. Granted being out of it for awhile he had to work on some of his skills but once he got in his groove he got better and better. For that he recieved the only plaque given at his soccer picnic for most improved. While most give best defense offense goalie etc I was honored that Zack recieved the only plaque Pete (his coach) decided to give. He is looking forward to doing some travel soccer this fall with one of his teammates and being back on the varsity team again next year. Where me and my vulveluza horn will be ready to cheer. Go Zack and kick butt I am very proud.

Dylan and his award

I am gonna take a minute to brag a bit on Dylan. He will be leaving CMS in about 5 days. Thus far throughout his school career he has always strived to be the best in all he does. He is an honor roll student with ease and has shown such a great character and love for others. He recently had his 8th grade award ceremony where he won one of the top Legacy Awards. He won the Karen Poff Humanitarian Award. Which is an award based on character concerning your respect, treatment of others, attitude, willing to help, and all around just a good person. Dylan last year stopped not one but two fights. Most kids his age only egg fights on but Dylan stepped in and stopped them both to stand up for those he cares about. I was told by one of the principals that this award was voted on by the entire faculty at CMS and Dylan was a clear choice. Do you know how that fills a mothers heart to hear that? So I wanted to share it with you. I look forward to seeing what great things he does in the future!!!!!
